Rinna Shinkai (新海リンナ, Rinna Shinkai) is a main character of the Aikatsu Friends! series. Rinna is a sexy-type idol whose preferred brand is Silky Ocean. Along with Marin Manami, the two are a part of Baby Pirates.

Bio

Appearance

Rinna has sharp cornered blue eyes with light purple and pale blue flecks. Her teal hair is chest length with a braid across the top of her head and a small tuft hangs behind the ear. She has long, slightly wavy bangs split off-center, with most of them brushed to the right partially covering the eye.

Etymology

Shinkai (新海, Shinkai) - Shin (新, Shin) means new and kai (海, umi) means ocean.

Rinna (リンナ, Rinna) has no particular meaning when written in katakana, but it can be written in kanji as "琳水" (jewel, water).
